An integral part of Orangeburg Consolidated School District Five’s total educational program, is the K–12 school counseling program designed to promote the academic, career and social/emotional development of all students. An integral part of the program consists of leadership, collaboration and student advocacy.  The program is further supported by programs and activities that will enhance student achievement and academic success as outlined in each schools Guidance Action Plan and the overall district mission and vision.  The plans have been aligned to support the district’s strategic plan, the South Carolina Comprehensive Guidance Plan and the ASCA (American School Counseling Association) national model.

The College Access and Parenting Office works to address the needs and concerns of all students and provide support to our parents, while working cohesively with business partners, local and state agencies.
